Hi all,
I have a Windows Desktop PC which has a GPU that is connected to my late 2009 27" iMac as well as a secondary 24" Dell monitor. I use the iMac in target display mode as the main monitor and the Dell monitor as a secondary display.
I have a laptop which I would like to use on the same two screens, and use the desktop keyboard and mouse to control both computers (ideally switching between desktop (dual display) and laptop (dual display)).
The Dell monitor has a spare input so I can take an HDMI cable directly from the laptop for that screen, but the iMac only has a single Minidisplay port.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a splitter to be able to connect both desktop and laptop to the iMac and then switch between them (cmd+F2?). If not, is there another way that I could do this ? maybe a KVM switch ?
Many Thanks
P
