Switching modes APP via Apple watch

I’m not sure why but I never have the option to switch between different modes on my APP on my watch.
I have both AirPod Gen 2 and APP linked to my phone and watch.
When I press on the airplay button I only see Apple Watch, AirPods gen2, APP, and connect. But nothing else.
Am I doing something wrong here? Or is it something that only 1 pair can be connected for the switch options to show up?

Yeah. I tried using the watch method to switch while playing Spotify.

Sometimes I have to scroll up to get to those settings.

Thanks for the feed back. Scrolling doesn’t do anything. Maybe it’s a bug. I’ll have to try and repair the AirPods
