Switching to AT&T. iPhone 3g!

Hello,

I am currently on the Verizon Wireless network and have been waiting for the release of the iPhone 3g to finally make the switch over to AT&T.

I am going to go buy (2) iPhone 3g's on the launch date, and I was wondering do I have to setup the AT&T service the second I purchase my iPhone in the apple store, or can I purchase my iPhone and bring it to an AT&T store at a later time.

(For the reason being, I am not the name that will be on the AT&T account, and the person who's name the account will be under isn't going to be present when I purchase our iPhones.)

i highly doubt that will work. the primary account holder needs to be present anyways if you want to get your iphone for 200 (assuming your eligible)

i guarantee that you will need to set up your accounts there. guarantee it.
