Hello all.

My display preferences, for some reason, seems to think my LG screen is a 24". So the resolution settings, by default, are crystal clear - but ginormous. SwitchResX to the rescue. That being said, the other extreme sees some of them with the writing scaled down to being unintelligible.

AFAIK - I can use SwitchResX to set custom resolutions. Is it simply a case of messing around - or is there some idiot's guide/general rule of thumb for working these things out? I'm not averse to Googling - but don't even know what should be searching for.

Any tips would be appreciated.
