Switiching to Family from Individual Account

I have an individuals mobile me account as does my brother. My mom would like one as well so we were thinking of getting a family pack. Will my brother and I be able to keep our old e mail addresses or will one of us have to give our address up in order to switch to a family pack?

You can simply add the accounts to the family account. So if your mother created a new account, she could add both you and your brother to it. You would not need a new email address as it will be transferred. However keep in mind that both you and your brother would have your storage space downgraded to 5GB so it makes sense that the one who uses the most space upgrade to a family pack and add the others.
