Yep... got it, installed it, disabled it... and moved on.

The only aspect I liked about it was the upper and lowercase keyboard display... this has been sorely needed for a long time on the Apple keyboard.

But, I find swipe typing to be cumbersome, and the traditional typing on the swipe keyboard was too slow (laggy)....

Me too. I downloaded it earlier and then disabled it. I much prefer swiftkey.
