iPhone Sync contacts with Whatsapp/Facebook

Hello, I recently bought my first iPhone and I'm having troubles with my contact list.
I want to sync the profile picture of my friends on Facebook with my iPhone.
Just few of them have an image on my phone, the rest of them show no picture at all.
Is there any way to automatically sync my contacts?

I was a Windows Phone user and auto syncing wasn't a problem; when somebody changed their picture profile, my Lumia changed it too.

I could be wrong, but from what I recall from a little while back is that Facebook limited what sort of sync can be done and there have been issues with getting photos and various other information since that time.
