Hello,

I just typed in a few contacts and plugged my iPad into my imac, which is my host computer itunes for my iPad. When the sync was complete, everything I typed into the iPad was gone. All it did was copy my computer address book to my iPad and erased the contacts that I put into my iPad.

This is strange because according to page 29 of the user guide it states:

Contacts, calendars, notes, and webpage bookmarks are synced with applications on your computer. Contacts and calendars are synced both ways between your computer and iPad. New entries or changes you make on iPad are synced to your computer, and vice versa. Notes and webpage bookmarks are also synced both ways. Photos and videos can be synced from an application or from a folder.

Any one have ant ideas.

Thanks,

I believe you need to tell it how to sync. There is a tab for managing contacts, etc. Look there and see if you can find it.

Thanks. I'll take a peek tomorrow and let you know what I find.
