Hi
I have a nexus 4 and a Mac mini. I have set up google music manager to sync my iTunes library to it so I can download it over the air to my nexus. I was trying to find if I could buy music from play store on my phone and have it sync back to my iTunes (preferably over the air again). I found the following guide but I cantvsee how to do some of the steps on google media manager on my Mac.

Can anyone point me to a guide on how to do this (if it is even possible)

Buy the album on music play store. Then on your Mac go into music manager in preferences and you will see an option to see purchased songs. You can download the album from that and then just drag and drop it back into iTunes.

Thanks for that. I was hoping it would be a bit more automatic but if Thats how it works then fair enough

You can auto synch iTunes purchases to Google Music, but not the other way around. Since my home is all Apple, and I just play with Android stuff when mobile, I just make all purchases on ITunes. Keeps life simpler.

Thanks. Normally I would do same (or use Amazon as it adds music to iTunes library) but I had a couple if instances when I wanted to buy an album whilst travelling and hoped it would all just link up. I think the steps described above are not too bad though.

Yeah its easy enough. Took me a while to work out how to download my purchases from Google play but that's the way to do it. I also have iTunes music match service and you'll be pleased to know albums bought from Google play store can sync with it too. I find it saves me a lot of money. Google play new releases are €5.99 here and same album on iTunes is often €9.99 so a good saving. :)
