Stuck in the middle with you
I have my ipod set to sync all songs, playlists, etc. and it's also used in disk mode. Of course, when it's done syncing it just sits there and charges. the only way I can figure out how to sync with it again is to unplug it and plug it in again, which seems clunky and non apple. Are there any other ways?

yep, on the left hand side you will see your ipod with the library and other playlist etc. just right click on on it then click "update"

You should be able to go into disk utility and mount it. It works with hard drives, I'm going to guess it will work with iPods as well.

Edit: Are you ejecting the iPod?
