I have a laptop and a desktop and I use them both to buy music and import cd's. Is there any easy way to keep my libraries in sync on both machines?

If you have two macs, you can use Apple's Backup (with a .Mac membership) or you could turn on FTP on one (or possibly both) computer and just manually sync them by dragging the iTunes Music folder and hitting Don't Overwrite.

I have a desktop running Win XP and an iBook, and I use both methods.

I don't know any "automatic" methods other than .Mac and Backup.
