I guess this been asked already but can't find a related discussion, was wondering if it is possible to sync music from iTunes (playlists) to an Android phone on a MacOS computer.

I know I could drag and drop tunes from a playlist and then somehow drag them onto the USB connected Android device but I'd like a more streamlined solution.

Also, to sync phonebook/calendar/photos, any hint on how to?

Grazie

For Phonebook/Calendar, use a Google account. Import all your contacts and calendar into a GMail account, and simply sign in with that GMail account on your macOS and you Android. macOS syncs fine with Gmail.

For your photos, also use Google photos, but there's a catch. It doesn't have a desktop app so you'll be accessing it from your web browser on your mac. This might not be ideal.

For music, try doubletwist. https://www.doubletwist.com
I have moved on to streaming services so I cannot comment much on this. But I heard doubletwist a lot even way back when.

I've literally just finished doing the exact same thing, but I'm syncing my windows 10 laptop iTunes library with my Galaxy A71.

I've tried doubletwist loads of times and have never been able to get it to work, I install on both devices and the windows app gets as far as 'loading your library' and that's it.

The solution I've found is Mediamonkey, which is a very powerful app but it's PC only from what I can see.

I would imagine doubletwist will be the one you need for Mac to android.

Buongiorno guys,

unfortunately Doubletwist seems to be PC only, in the meantime I will try and sync phonebook and calendar, dunno what else there is to sync, pictures no big deal, agenda would be nice but who cares, music will sure be nice, worse solution being drag and drop from iTunes playlists but I am sure somebody will come with a solution meanwhile I look myself for some.

Grazie

There's worse things than dragging from iTunes playlists, at least it's all organised how you want it within iTunes. Only problem is you end up duplicating songs on your SD card if they appear in more than one playlist.
