I am in a very confused state I recently bought my iphone 3GS yaaay and I synced it with my MACBOOK (operating OS X 10.4) and it worked beautifully.
Then I heard about the Mobilme and the trial period, so I decided it was a good idea to try it out, especially with the find my iphone feature. So, I synced it up with my iphone and it worked great. Unfortunately when I tried to sync it with my MACBOOK, i discovered I had to update my operating system to leopard, which I had to purchase, so I didn't sync with my MACBOOK yet.
The issue is now, when I connect my iphone to my MACBOOK it doesn't sync. Also, I noticed I have 2 sets of contacts groups in my iphone, one called "from my mac" and the other is "Mobilme account", this is also the same with the calendars. This made my life VERY confusing. As, the only sync working right now is between iphone+mobilme.
Please share with me your wisdom to solve this problem so I have only one set of contacts and calendar groups, instead of 2!!
Should I delete mobilme account? If so, how?
Should I purchase the upgrade for my MACBOOK? If so, do I have to back up my documents, pictures, etc before upgrade?
