Hey guys,

I would really like to sync my outlook notes with my iPhone. Does anyone know of a way of doing this? I searched google, but only got threads from a year ago with no updates.

My phone is currently Jailbroken, so that is not a problem. Please let me know your advice.

I just found this myself:

http://www.v1ru8.net/iphonenotes/

Hope it helps!

Did you even read the original post? How about the title of the thread? How would a Mac program help sync Outlook notes with the Notes app on the iPhone when Outlook runs under Windows. Explain your logic, please :)

poppe, at this time you cannot sync Outlook notes to your iPhone through Exchange, MobileMe, or Direct USB connection to iTunes. Perhaps in the future Apple will create a method for doing so, or maybe a 3rd party developer will.

Has anyone tried this? I'd be curious to hear how well it works. Also, if you make a change to a note on the Outlook side and then rerun the sync, does it update the note or create a new/duplicate one?

Thank you for your interest on my script.

The current version of the script will not be able to remove duplication. In other words, everytime you run the script all notes will be accumulated.

My original idea is to write a simple script to migrate my Outlook notes to my iPhone for the first time.

However, I am working on the "manual" sync portion because many people are asking for it. Since I hope to give all of you a better GUI, I am trying to rewrite everything in VB (another never used weird programming language).

The latest version will check for duplication by title.
So, you can run the script to update the notes.db repeatly if Outlook has the latest version of each note.
