Background: I recently lost my only Lightning charging cable, however I do have an iPod stereo with an integrated lightning connector, so I can still charge my iPhone 5.

Is there any way to initiate "sync over WiFi" from a jailbroken phone? From what I've seen, normally you have to press the "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi" button in iTunes. Unfortunately I had not previously done that, as I always plugged into my computer to charge anyway.

Is there any way to mess around with a .plist somewhere and "enable" this checkbox myself? My iPhone is fully jailbroken and I'm fine with modifying the software innards of my phone.

Go to settings/iCloud/Storage & Backup and turn on your iCloud backup via wifi.

At least you'll have a current backup.

Borrow a cable and turn the wifi sync on.
