So I have a Mac at home along with my iPhone. I'm looking at getting a Mac at work and would like to be able to sync with it as well. So, if I took my iPhone that has been synced with my home Mac and plugged it into my new work Mac, would it transfer all of my music, contacts, etc on to my new Mac? Or, would it erase everything on my iPhone and sync what exists on the new Mac?

You can only sync with 1 computer by default. It would erase your content on the iphone and sync with mac #2.

If you wanted to use AppTap to put Installer.app on your phone, there is an app called SwapTunes that will let you sync with 2 computers and switch your library back and forth between them. I would assume it renames a directory so your iPhone can't find your music and reports the library as blank so your phone won't have its contents erased by a second itunes library.

I have successfully synced one iPhone between two Macs, I set it up on my mini added songs, calendar, contacts, etc, realized that I had some stuff on my MacBook that I wanted on there as well so I plugged it in and opened iTunes and it worked perfectly, even gave me the "a song you purchased on this iPod isn't in iTunes would you like to add it" message.

I read somewhere, perhaps in the literature that came with the iPhone that you could sync calendars and contacts with two computers.

With the new feature to buy songs straight to the device and syncing to the computer, I wonder what the restrictions would be for syncing those purchased songs to multiple computers.

I assume that with the wifi store it would be like it is now and you'll get a message asking if you want to transfer the song to your Mac, the phones and iPods know which account they are attached to, I tried seeing if I could do the dual sync thing with a regular iPod and was the recipient of the old message "this iPod is associated with a different computer would you like to erase"
