Have been running a 3g on Vodafone using rebelsim with no problems until last night. Cannot sync with i tunes. Normmally just have to put iphone into airplane mode then do a re start afterwards but coming up with invalid sim card. Has anyone else come across this problem?

sync with itunes

Thank you, I did it! I was actually going to write something similar today... I was using my 3G without the cell phone, waiting for my any-network sim card holder thingy, and was happy syncing contacts and music and apps... then I put in the card, which seems to work so far though took me about 45 minutes bending it in the right way for it to fit. Happy it was working here in China, but when I connected it to my MacBook Pro, itunes said it couldn't recognize the SIM. I couldn't find anything on the net about it, and was about to post a thread and came across yours. I hadn't heard about using the airplane mode, and it worked, so my problem is probably solved, at least for now, as you wrote in the thread. Thanks for that tip, nickafc1903! Have you tried rebelsim support?

Managed to get it to work by going through file then sync that way. just had an update installed on computer so reckin that it may have been that which is causing the automatic sync. Glad you are up and running
