I keep getting this message about my contacts. " Syncing with .Mac will change more than 5% of your Contacts on this computer " Add 729/ Delete 745/ Modify 4.....I'm a liitle sketched on pressing " allow "... any advice??

Go to Address Book and select Backup Address Book from the File menu so that you have a hard copy of your current contacts. Now, allow .Mac to do its thing and if you don't like the end result, then you can Revert To Backup (also from the File menu) to get back to where you are now.
