I'm hoping to pick up the iPad on the 28th at the airport. This will leave me some 3 hours to sync it with my macbook air, before the flight. Will this be long enough?

1) question is, will your macbook air die before the Ipad is charged :p

2) You could also pick up one of the portable emergency powersupply things for iphone/pad. charge it up before you set off for your trip.

3) you assume you will find one in stock at the airport? :)

I rang last week. They will have them in stock, I just can't reserve. I will be there when They open.
I believe outlets will be available at the airport so I can use the power supply, just need to know how long it takes to sync.

Had mine delivered to a hotel and had to head to the airport about an hour later. I had my MBA with me just for the initial sync. It is much faster to make a list of the apps you want and download directly to the IPad. You should have plenty of battery power in the iPad on delivery. It took about an hour to sync and download about 20 apps which will keep you busy on the flight. Enjoy

Thanks for the reply :)
Just have to keep my fingers crossed they get them in time.
