Hi,

I have tried to setup calendar synchronization correctly. First of all, I noticed I had duplicate calendars on my iPhone, one "from my mac", and one "iCloud". As a result, events appeared twice in the notification area. Getting rid of the "from my mac" calendar and keeping only the iCloud one looked the right thing to do. And it worked, not duplicate notification anymore. Except that when I sync my phone and my mac through iTunes, clicking the sync button on my mac within iTunes, it recreates the calendar "from my mac" on my iPhone, which results again in duplicate notifications in the notification area. This is driving me crazy. I do not manage to figure out what happens!

By the way, iCloud push synchro between my mac and my iPhone seems to work perfectly as long as both devices are connected to the internet. So I wonder if there is a work around if I happen to have no connection and I need to synchronize both devices...

I hope my explanation is clear, I am bit confused by all this.

I'm having the same problem. The duplicates that come from "All from my Mac" on the phone will not let me edit them on the phone. I can deselect them on the phone. So the calendar that is "All from my Mac" has the calendar names like this - Home[username@me.com] and the other calendars are All "username@mac.com"

Ok, I think I figured it out.
In iTunes I
Checked "Sync iCal Calendars"
Checked "Selected Calenders " But did not select ANY calenders
Under Advanced
Checked "Replaced information on this phone Calendars"
Synced
Unchecked "Sync iCal Calendars"
When it asked to remove or delete calendars say yes
Sync
And now everything is working as it should.:)

How do I exactly access sync options in iTunes?

Hi B1770,

Where do you exactly access the sync options in iTunes? And which iTunes do you mean, the one of my iPhone of the one of my Mac?

Thanks for your help
