In this article "How to Solve Overheating Issue of MacBook M1 pro and M1 max", the author says:

"6. Enable Graphics settings of your MacBook
Enabling the Graphics setting of the MacBook help to reduce Overheating. For that, you have to visit the activity monitor and tick sync the battery with graphics. It will help you sync your running graphics with the current CPU system."

Does anyone know what he's talking about? Maybe post a screenshot? I open Activity Monitor but don't see anything about syncing the battery with graphics. Am i looking in the wrong place?

Thanks!

None of this makes any sense. What overheating?

These computers do not have an overheating problem. I would ignore that article completely.
