I use a ratings system to sort my music, and I have a lot of songs I didn't rate yet. I just got a Surface Pro, which only has a 128GB SSD, so I can't fit everything on it. Is there a way to add the unrated songs, which would be a new library, back and forth between my Mac Mini using my old iPod? It can't really play music well since it locks up a lot.

So long story short, what I want to do is take the unrated songs, make a playlist in iTunes for them, sync them to the iPod, and then copy them to the Surface with a USB hard drive, rate them on surface, and sync them to the ipod to transfer ratings to the Mac Mini. Is this possible at all?
