3GS 3.01. I emailed a small photo of my grandkids to my phone and it always rotates itself 90degrees in the camera roll and as wallpaper)

The photo was originally taken with this iphone and was always used as wallpaper and it was fine but I had to "restore as new" so I emailed the same photo back to the phone. Now it ALWAYS rotates 90degrees. On the computer it's fine. It's 1536x2408 which is the right res. and should be vertical.

I googled this issue and back in 2007 it was a problem. Is there a way to get the photo to display properly so I can use it as wallpaper?

I have the same issue all the time. But it just happens to some photos taken and not others. It's always random. When I put it on my computer it shows up the normal way but if attached or viewed back on the phone. It's rotated. I have to go and rotate the picture a couple of times and it'll then get rid ofthe bug. Which is super annoying cause we say something all the time when I email a pic. Wonder how this will affect mms too?
