Hi, I'd like to synch my pop email account accross 2 macs (laptop and desktop both running 10.10.5) so that deleting messages, coloring messages, etc, synch on both machines. Is this doable?

Thanks

The only way to "sync", and I use that term loosely, is to enable the "Leave messages on server" option. That will at least keep the received emails in check... this however will not help you with sent messages. As the other two said, IMAP is definitely the way to go.

And it won't do anything for the unread, flagged syncing. I wish all ISP's just disabled POP, its soooooo old now....
