I have a new 27" iMac and a 27" apple cinema display (yeah I'd like to get another one but my desk isn't big enough).

Anyways, I have two problems. One is that the color seems to be off. Even if I use the same calibration setting for both of them, my ACD seems more white and cleaner. The other problem is the brightness. Using the keyboard brightness control, it only adjusts the brightness on the iMac and not the ACD. Seems to be a weird oversight from Apple as Windows 7 seems to do a better job in this area.

In any case, does anyone have a solution for trying to get the colors of the displays calibrated so they look the same? Also is there a 3rd party app to be able to control the brightness with my apple keyboard for both displays?

Thanks in advance
