Hi,

My wife has just moved from a windows laptop to a MacBook Pro

She wants to sync her iPhone with the mbp but of course she is getting the message saying that the iPhone must be reset to be able to sync with the new computer

She wants to be able to keep all current apps and data for those apps (e.g. Line conversations, line contacts, etc)

Below is my plan - will it work?

Music: not an issue as she just home shares to my iTunes library

Photos: I'll sync her phone with OS X photos and then get photos to clear them from her phone

Apps: I'll download her purchases from the Apple Store to iTunes on the mbp

I'll then back up her phone to the iCloud (just in case) and then back up her phone to iTunes on the mbp and then restore her iPhone from iTunes on the mbp

Will I then be able to sync any music she wants from iTunes (assuming I import it via the home share) and keep everything else as is?

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if I've posted this on the correct sub forum - if not please can you direct me to the correct sub forum?

Thanks in advance
