Synching my music library from Mac to iPhone misses a number of tracks, even though they are listed in the Music app and play on my Mac.

Can anyone please help?

Many thanks.

I have the same problem on a Windows PC syncing music to my iPad and iPhone. Unselecting and reselecting usually does the trick on my iPhone, and is a pain, but there are some tracks that simply won’t load onto my iPad. I can’t figure out why.

Disclaimer: My music is ripped YouTube tracks.

Thanks for the reply.

I had it set to sync my entire library, so I just unticked that then deleted all of the playlists/songs.

Couldn't get it to sync individually, because I had deselected sync library. Then I couldn't sync at all.

Long way round, but I'm now synching my entire library again, and it seems that tracks are already missing.

Does your sync also mess up playlist artwork?

No, it doesn’t change album artwork. I manually add artwork to the albums with images from the internet if I really want to do so. I have had to add the artwork to individual tracks because I added the tracks after the addition of the artwork.
