Me and my wife both have iPhones. We use the same iTunes account. I've been syncing mine with my google account for awhile. My wife doesn't sync hers. I tried to setup hers to sync with her google contacts. After I set hers to sync and configured her account, the contacts from my google contacts were merged on her phone with her contacts. No contacts were uploaded to her google contacts and my contacts remained the same. Is there a way to have 2 iphones sync with 2 different google acounts?

I do the same here, one itunes account and we both sync to our own google accounts. Just set both up as you would for google sync but MAKE SURE that your wifes contacts appear in her google account before your do the final sync step. Mine worked fine but whn i did her's only 2 contacts appeared, i didnt double check, and it forced me to restore. I guess thats the safety net for you, you can always restore her and get back everything. It acted funky when i was setting hers up, just try it again and take your time. I might have had to do hers like 2-3 times before all her contacts appeared in google. The only conflict was if we each had "mom" in contacts referring to our own mother's. The google would wipe her mom out for mine :) so make sure you dont have double titled contacts too.

But overall it works great, having access to each others calendar is huge!
