Syncing Apple TV With Multiple Macs

Is it possible to sync an apple tv with more than one mac? I know you can stream from multiple sources and I can get the device to show up in different iTunes libraries...but the sync option only appears on one machine. Thanks.

Only one machine for syncing. Multiple machines (as you know) for streaming.
