I have imported and edited photos taken on iPhone to photos on my mac and would like to sync them back to the iPhone.

If I follow this procedure and select ONLY 1 album, will it delete ALL the other photos on my iPhone and just leave the selected album OR will it only transfer the single selected album with modified photos back to the iPhone?

I do NOT want to delete other photos on my iPhone but would like to get the modified ones back on it.

I can not find this out anywhere. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me before finding out it does not do what I want to do.

Thanks

I'm assuming that you want to manually sync using iTunes.

If that is the case then iTunes will sync that selected Album into the Photos app on your iPhone. The photos that you imported from your iPhone to your Mac should still be in your Camera Roll on your iPhone.

The sync will not delete pictures in your Camera Roll. If you have any other pictures in the Photos app, by only syncing that album, those other pictures will be deleted from Photos. Yes, the Camera Roll does show up in Photos, but, again anything in there will not be deleted by the sync.
