Is it possible to have files automatically sync to your iDisk, so that you don't need to keep deleting them and copying them back? In other words, I'm working on a paper for school, and would like to have the most recent version of the paper saved to my iDisk at all times. When I save the most recent changes to the paper on my hard drive, I'd like the changes to be saved to the copy on my iDisk as well. Right now, after each save, I'm going into my iDisk, trashing the older copy, and manually dragging the newer copy from my hard drive and onto my iDisk. This is kind of a pain, and since the changes I make in other programs (such as iCal or Address Book) sync with my iPhone so flawlessly, I figured it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to sync changes in Word documents as well...

Hmm...yeah, just opening it from my iDisk does make sense!

As for turning on syncing...what does that mean??

Go into MobileMe in preferences, select iDisk, and turn on iDisk syncing. What that does is creates a local copy of your iDisk (on your hard drive). That way if you aren't online, you can still access the files, and it will all sync up the next time you're connected to the 'net. VERY handy!

Thats great but is there another way?

I really need these documents and so having them only stored to some random online thing just doesn't make me happy. I know that technecally if u keep a copy on ur comp this shouldn't be a problem but it can be synced the other way right? So there is a chance it could be destroyed. I want some thing that will just sync my documents folder to idisk? Also buying stuff of the internets really not great either so free would be preferable.

Please Help
