Syncing jailbroken phone safe?

Is it safe to sync the contacts/datebook/pics/videos if my 3gs is jailbroken?

With iTunes of course.

Lucky that you have old boot rom, since there are no other jailbreaks for newer versions, how ever, no, not really, jailbreak doesn't disappear, non "Apple" applications will though, that you have got through Install0us, etc.

??? Am I missing something here? I have been jailbroken for a few months now, sync with iTunes ALL the time and have never lost anything. I have a little over a hundred non-jailbroken (app store) apps that sync just fine with iTunes. I have about 40 or so Cydia apps also. I sync contacts, music, videos, apps, podcasts, audiobooks, pics........

You're not missing anything. JB phones sync exactly the same as non-JB phones (as you know).
