iPod syncing--just want to add an audiobook and an album

I already have a bunch of media on the Touch. now i have a new CD and audiobook, which I would like to add to the mix.

If I select Sync Manually and 'Recently Added' it erases everything else and adds only those items.

Is there a way to just a some new content to the already well-stock mix?
