Hello,

What happens if I want to start to sync Calendar via iCloud between Mac and iPad and iPhone and the existing calendar entries on these devices are not identical? Is there some kind of merging happening or does one calendar have to take the lead and then gets pushed onto the other devices and by doing this deletes whatever is in the other calendars?

I'm asking this because a friend asked me to sync the calendars on her three devices. I don't know exactly what the settings on these devices are at the moment because I have not had them in front of me yet.

Thanks! - desertman

I would start by logging into iCloud through your web browser. There you can see what is on the calendar in the cloud. You can make sure it's what you want before syncing to all your devices.

Good idea to start with icloud.com. Thanks. Makes it four calendars, though. Probably icloud.com is identical to at least one of the devices.

Can I do anything smart if some of the calendars are not identical in order to get everything everywhere?
