I had Notes turned off on iPhone 4S but now I want to copy them to my laptop. I turned Notes on in iPhone settings, but it made me create a new iCloud email address. I did that, nothing synced. I have Notes turned On in Utilities on my laptop, under iCloud and Mail/Calendars etc. Still my phone notes do not arrive.

I tried logging into my iCloud account online but saw nothing.

How can I get my notes to arrive on the laptop, and then later I want to close the connection and probably delete them from computer.

Thanks.

Edit each note. Add a space. That'll force the syncing.

I tried that, I added a space to a couple of notes on my phone. But they did not come through on the computer though.

Also, I noticed that Settings on my phone showed that Mail was turned on in iCloud, which I never had before, because I don't want my mail backed up in iCloud. Not sure why that turned on, but I turned it off again.

Also I noticed that on the iCloud page, it only lists my iPad as a device. Yet it is the iPhone that I send photos to computer and iPad through the cloud. How do I add a device in the cloud list?

Thanks.
