I have some really old iPods: the original 5GB, 2G 20GB, and 4G. How can I sync/put music onto them??? Is it possible to do with my current computer setup? (see signature)

I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!! :)

those arent photo compatible so you cant put photos on them

The earliest iPods sync via Firewire, so as long as the computer with your iTunes library supports Firewire and you have the correct cable, you should be fine.

I still sync an old 3G 20 Gb with my iMac.

Did I ask that?

Thanks. I currently have the 1G iPod plugged into my iMac via Firewire and my External HD. It's not showing up. Should I move the cord to plug directly into the machine?
