Where bunnies are welcome.
I can't tell you how many times I've had my music be synced when all I wanted to do was sync my ringtones. How come when I sync ringtones does it state that all my music will be deleted off the iPhone. I use manual to sync, so i thought I had control over this, but it has happened more than once now, so I wanted to ask if this is just how it is.

If you have the checkbox selected to "Manually manage your music and videos", then you can't sync ringtones. You must drag the ringtones you want to your iPhone (just like you do your music and videos).

Ahhhh, that is what I've done wrong every time, and yes, I have the checkbox selected to "Manually manage your music and videos." I figured I had to sync to put them on there "manually." I never even thought of doing it that way by just dragging them. Thanks a million!

Well, here's another question for you, since I haven't been dragging my stuff when using that checkbox. If I delete a song off the iPhone, does that leave space that essentially is not available for anything else (if the "anything else" takes up more space)? I hope that makes sense. I guess another way to say it is does it create fragments?
