My wife's recently got an iPad, and we use the same iCloud account - but I can't work out how to get the calendars I've created on my Snow Leopard MacBook iCal (which usually sync via iTunes onto my iPhone), onto her iPad.

I've worked out how to get her created iPad calendars into my Mac's iCal, but can't work out how to do it the other way round.

I appreciate there's a lot of syncing threads here, but i couldn't find one that had the problem this way round.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, but...

Thanks for your help - I'd seen that tip online already, and it helps partly in that it loads the calendars that my wife had created on her iPad (i.e. our iCloud account calendars) onto my Macbook iCal...

However, I'm still left with the problem that the calendars I've created on my Macbook (which come under the 'On My Mac' tab in iCal) not appearing either in iCloud or on the iPad. Is there any way to add these calendars to iCloud so that they appear on the iPad too, and sync through iCloud?

Interestingly I do have those calendars on my iPhone because they sync through iTunes.

Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Because you sync your iCal Calendar using iTunes, that's why it's on the iPhone.

In iCal, you can view 'On My Mac' calendars or 'Synced' calendars (such as iCloud)

If you want to sync through iCloud, you will have to 'move' your iCal Calendar to iCloud. Otherwise, you will have to sync to your iPad the same way you sync to your iPhone.

To do this, you would have to copy/paste to a new calendar within iCloud (if you login online, you can create a new Calendar to sync) - I don't think you can export from iCal then import to iCloud - But I'm not on my mac at the moment, so can't test it.

Hope this info helps!
