I have a Samsung galaxy s22 plus and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I switch back and forth often a couple weeks at a time. Using Samsung smart switch I can easily transfer imessages to my galaxy but I can't get my Android messages to my iPhone.

I have used the Apple reset and transferred from Android but then all my icloud data is lost.

I just want to be able to keep all my icloud data and update my android messages to my iPhone. I don't see an easy way to do this. I want to use my iPhone but I will lose all my recent texts if I switch back which is keeping me on my S22 plus.

Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks for any help!

Have you tried the move to iOS app to switch from Android to iPhone?
Yes, if I try to use that then I can only sync everything from my Android phone but I can't sync with iCloud.

My iPhone is already set up. I don’t want to reset it. Just get texts from my Android device when I switch back to iPhone.

Move to iOS only can be used when first setting up a new or reset iPhone.
