syncing with itunes - should I be nervous?

I bought a used first gen iphone, it has been hacked and unlocked. Now I need to sync it with itunes for address book and some more music, any chance i'll ibrick my phone? Thanks.

I have used my first gen JB unlocked phone for over 6 months, no problem syncing it with iTunes. In fact, I sync the stupid almost 4-5 times a week. Thats with MobileMe sync, music, and movies.

Yeah, it's treated just like a regular iPhone. iTunes doesn't know the difference. Sync away, my friend.
