Have an iPod Nano used as media source in car. How can I wipe the iPod clean and resync with SELECTED songs & PL’s? Using latest ver of IT. Pod is about 4 yrs old.
 
In iTunes, there's going to be icons just below the play controls that look something like this:

The one on the far right will look like an iPod. Click that and it'll take you to the summary page.

You want to click the Restore iPod... button on the right.

And then go into the Music tab and select the Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres option. It'll give you a list of everything in your library that you can check off to sync.

Hope that helps (I know the screenshots say it's an iPhone, but this is how it works with my Nano too).
