Syncng issues

I have a friend who is out of town and needs some help. His iPhone activation went swell and he can sync photos, videos and music, but cannot sync contacts (out of address book), calendar (ical) or safari bookmarks. After talking with him on the phone fo a half hour it sounds like he has all the right stuff checked and he gets no errors, just no data. Doing some searches the best thing I found was to reset the sync data in iSync but that did not help.

Anyone have an idea I can have him try? Thanks

I never got any responses but I solved it. I thought I would give an update in case anyone else runs into it.

It turns out his iSync was seriously fubared. I repaired his disk permissions and all was cool.

iPhone / Vista / Outlook 2007 sync problem

I keep getting the following error while iPhone / iTunes syncing calendar using outlook as the sync setting. The error is:

iTunes stopped due to iPhone disconnected.

This has happened at least 15 times. The phone is still in the cradle I did not disconnect it.

Can anyone help me? Thanks
