Hello, I'm new here. Lots of great info!

I have a PC with XP 2002, Outlook 2003, and iPhone 3G. I would like to use MobileMe to sync these.

I just got my iPhone 3G yesterday. I had previously updated to the latest iTunes software with no problems, and I purchased the MobileMe.

I brought the 3G home, and plugged it in to iTunes, and it worked just fine. Then I acivated MobileMe and the problems began. Although I followed the instructions I managed to erase all my calendars and contact information in the iPhone. No worries though, because I had backups. After many hours of messing with the programs I have finally managed to get my contacts to sync, but I am still having a small issue with the calendar.

My issue is when I open the calendar in me.com I get this message:

"Calendar Error
MobileMe Calendar could not start because it was unable to load any calendars from the server. Try reloading Calendar. If this problem persists, contact MobileMe Support."

It appears that there is correct information on my calendar, and my calendar does sync to my iphone and appears to be correct. However, me.com will not allow me to add new events. When I do I get this message:

"Calendar Error
Calendar was unable to update your calendar, event, or To Do because of a server error. Please try again."

However...when I add a new calendar event in my iPhone it will almost immediately sync to the me.com calendar. But I still get the strange error message.

I have tried the suggestions on the Apple Support site, and I have emailed support with my problem but have not received a response other than the automated. When I restart my computer I consistently get a message saying:

"syncserver.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I do not know how to fix this problem, and I have a feeling it may be what is causing the problem with my calendar.

Suggestions, anyone?

Thanks,
Teresa

Everything is now working correctly. No more error messages and calendar is syncing properly! YAY!:D

I can only assume Apple has solved the problem from their end, as I have really done nothing but wait.
