Does anyone else have a Synology with the latest DSM version to-date that doesn't show up in the Shared area on Finder? Time Machine struggles with backups because sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't, what am I missing here?

Synology never shows in shared

And this is just one of many reasons why TM should only be relied upon, when using a TC... (And even that can be flaky!)
I had nothing but issues when I was using a Synology as my TM hub.
Ah well, I make backups myself manually anyway not really fussed about file history.
