System monitor widget for Yosemite. Testers needed.

Hi, my name is Luis and I’m a Mac/iOS developer.

I’m looking for beta-testers for a Yosemite widget I’m currently developing. The widget is called ‘Vital Signs’, and it´s actually a ‘Today Extension’ for the Yosemite Notifications Center that shows system temperatures (CPU/GPU/HDD), fan speeds and current RAM usage.

It should work on any iMac, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, Mac Mini and Mac Pro. The final version will be available for free on the Mac App Store.

Widget installation and removal is pretty simple, and it’s explained step-by-step on the link provided below.

I encourage you to send me your feedback, whether it’s working properly or not (especially if you find any bug). Contact details are provided in the article linked below. You may also PM me here or respond to this post if you have any questions.

New version available, with several improvements and bug fixes:

Version 1.1 Changelog

• Installation/Update process greatly simplified. The installer is now packed as a .dmg
• The widget is now fully configurable: you can choose which sections you want to see (temps/fans/memory).
• Sensors that do not exist on the users machine are now automatically hidden. No more 0 or - - - readings.
• Widget overall height slightly reduced.
• Supported languages: English and Spanish.
• Fixed a bug that might cause the widget to show no readings on some systems.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the widget from remembering the temperature units (ºC/ºF)

The widget remains freeware. It should work on any Mac, with the exception of the Mac Pro.
