I've opened Firefox today after some weeks I was not using it.

Today I've opened it to test a web page and a system popup of Yosemite appeared inviting me to try the new Safari (because, it says, the browser is improved and offers great features).

I was wondering if in the license contract of OSX I allowed Apple to spy which softwares I open and if I have allowed them to spam me with popups which advertise their software...

If you frequent this forum and other Apple fan forums, then you know that users complain about everything that happens and about many things that don't happen. I have never seen or heard tell of anything like this on a Mac--at least not an ad for Apple products. I have to be suspicious of the origins of your popup.
