After installing PB2, I don't get a system sound when pressing the sound up and sound down buttons. I do get the transparent icons onscreen, but no sound to go along with it.

I get sound from any media just fine.

Anyone else with this issue.......OR is this a new thing to be turned on or off in Sys Pref?

----------

answered my own question. There is a tik box in the Sound Preferences area for this. I don't know if it existed in previous builds, but it is there and OFF by default.

Glad it's there, I hated that before, so now I have it off.

Didn't realise this either, seems like a new feature.

and the volume feedback sound is different now too, much better than the previous which is kinda high pitch and annoying to me.

Yeah, it's a new feature for it to be automatically turned off.

If you want it turned on, go to System Preferences > Sound and then turn on "Play feedback when volume is changed"

It's also a new sound which I can't get enough of.
