Just picked up an iPhone yesterday and love it. One minor issue though - where is the system volume? Some of the general system sounds like Mail arriving, clicks, etc seem to be loud.

Thanks.

This might be the first complaint that the iPhone is loud. :D

Anyway, I believe these sounds are controlled by the ringer volume. So you can push the volume up/down buttons at the home screen, or adjust the ringer volume slider in Settings > Sounds.

Yeah funny you say that... after doing some searching prior to posting I found complaints to be the opposite.

Weird, well it's at the lowest but some of the general system sounds are a bit loud. Oh well! Thanks.
