@nateatlarge We will have to keep an eye out for movement on the UPS my choice. I have ground shipping, will be interesting to see what, if any, difference that makes.

I would assume either tomorrow or Thursday. Unless Apple undermined stock for 512Gb but I wouldn't assume so. Doesn't seem like something Apple would do. I hope for all you 512Gb orders get em at launch.Still no movement XS Max 512GB Gold.
Yeah, impossible to know what phone for what carrier is on what plane. When ordered straight from apple, you can tell, because the departure scan from china correlates to a flights departure time. However, through a carrier, who knows what plane its on. Tmobile's shipping labels are created from the Jeffersonville, IN UPS hub. Once they land, and are processed there, you will see the updates on UPS my choice.
Because I would assume people going with Apple want the unlocked version. As you should get anyway. I guess I don't understand the need for phones to be locked anymore. When apple releases one model of each but allows the carriers to lock em. What does that tell us??It’s interesting to me that on the Apple site it shows Apple Watch delivering my mid October if you order now. On t Mobile it shows shipping between 9/21-9/21. Seems like everyone goes through Apple and overlooks carriers. Kind of saw the same for phones too.
do see that the order was set up with 7 business day shipping for $6.99. After an order has been set up it can't be changed, but because it has not shipped yet we would be able to cancel the order and place a new one.
The concern with that is that you would lose your place in line for the preorder, so that would defeat the purpose of reordering it with faster shipping.
How can they match up the UPS label made in Indiana to all the phones coming in to Indiana by IMEI number which is already assigned?
That seems like a hard task....
No clue, someone much smarter than me must have figured out how to do that.

Again, take this with a grain of salt because it's a rep and usually they're given conflicting information. But here's what one rep is telling me about UPS Ground. At this point it's hard to say when we're going to get our phones but the fact that My Choice is saying Ground shipping tells me that they are indeed being shipped using Ground shipping. I would not be surprised at all if we (those of us with UPS Ground in My Choice) will be getting our phones sometime next week... I'm hopeful but just being realistic.
256gb space gray ordered at 11:59 the 13th via tmo chat. Nothing yet. Still says 9/21-9/21.
ummmm...barcodes...How can they match up the UPS label made in Indiana to all the phones coming in to Indiana by IMEI number which is already assigned?

You'll get it. Nothing to be concerned about. I know it's nerve wracking this time of year, but I've been through this 5 times. I'd get concerned if you don't see any movement by Thursday late night/Friday early morning.Same. Debating if I should call tonight...getting concerned.
I just feel that, if we already have tracking numbers and planes are coming in, it would make no sense to delay shipping them. Our TMobile Order Status' say ship "by" 9/21". Hopefully they indeed ship it before hand, if wherever possible.
However if I don't see movement until Friday on my tracking number, I'd be sad.
I've been burned by this in the past.. Its logistics.. UPS has an obligation to deliver packages to their service guarantee.. They can, and do, let packages sit. Packages dont go on transport until they need to go to meet the delivery date. Especially when an event like this occurs. When Tmobile "upgraded" me to expedited 2nd day shipping for my iPhone 6s, UPS processed it exactly like that -- 2nd Day Air -- and it was delivered Monday. There was absolutely nothing either UPS or T-Mobile could do once the label was generated to change that.I can't imagine that UPS would let packages sit for days before even shipping them.
No tracking number yet, but I did get a charge on my credit card earlier today. How about you?Has anyone gotten the tracking number for their iPhones with 9/26 - 10/2 shipping dates?
But there are no delivery dates attached to anyone’s order according to UPS My Choice. We have been pre ordering iPhones for years now, UPS and Fedex have their systems down. If you already have an IMEI and a tracking number, I’ll bet money you get it in Friday.I've been burned by this in the past.. Its logistics..
