Thinking of switching to T-Mobil but this is what I'm getting with Verizon

#1 Is WiFi inside Home Concrete/Steele

#2 Is LTE inside same location above

#3 LTE outside on sidewalk

#4 3G outside on sidewalk

Not as good as some of you, but that again depends where you are located. I'm in Dunedin, Florida, next to Clearwater

T-Mobile increases 2014 LTE target from 225 million POPs to 250 million POPs. Looks like the LTE footprint will continue to rapidly expand this year.

http://www.fiercewireless.com/story...utter-3-metropcs-cdma-markets-year/2014-02-25

"As for T-Mobile's LTE network buildout, the carrier increased its 2014 LTE coverage target from 225 million people to 250 million people. The carrier also said that it now offers 20x20 MHz LTE in Dallas, where average download speeds are now reaching 20-30 Mbps."

Note the "250+ million" POPS. That means T-Mobile could go up to covering 280 million POPS with AWS/PCS/700A/more spectrum LTE this year, which means all of their EDGE. :D

Apparently T-Mobile plans to deploy some LTE in the 1900 PCS spectrum in order to help them meet this 250 million goal.

Also that doesn't even include the 700mhz spectrum so it's possible that they will be above 250 million by year end 2014.

Just noticed last night LTE is stretching fully to my neighborhood finally. No more switching between 4G to LTE!

T-Mobile has given me LTE in my home recently.

Kudos to AutoUnion39 and the rest of the T-Mobile haters for thinking that T-Mobile isn't doing anything about their network.

Reading some of the comments on this board you'd think T-Mobile doesn't have LTE or HSPA+ service anywhere except Midtown Manhattan. Must be magic that you're getting it at home.

Nah, just awesome T-Mobile engineers in Philadelphia. ;) :D

I just switched from AT&T to T-Mobile a week ago. Overall pretty happy so far! The main thing I notice is a lot of bouncing, when indoors at home and work, between 4-5 "dots" of 4G and 1-2 "dots" of LTE. I think this is leading to more battery drain than I recall when I had AT&T (same exact unlocked iPhone 5s). Is it better to turn LTE off when indoors?

When outdoors or testing via SpeedTest and ROOTMetrics at a stoplight or something, the LTE is simply amazing when I have 3-5 "dots"! My best is 38 down and 16 up.

Here are a couple of tests I just ran (at my house, exact same location at my desk). The 4G was with the LTE off in the iPhone settings. The LTE was with it toggled on. In this case, it seems that the 5 dots of 4G was better than the 1 dot of LTE.
